24-year-old goalkeeper Shapikoense Jackson Folman survived a plane crash in Medellin, but unfortunately lost both legs.
Folman was one of three players, or one of the six, who survived the plane crash that claimed the lives of 75 people, including 19 players and 20 journalists.
Because of the seriousness of the injuries doctors had to amputate both his legs and his condition is critical.
“You know that the chances are minimal to survive a plane crash. We must thank God that our son is alive. It is true that his amputated legs, but do not know what his condition. This is agony for which I feel will not pass, “said Folman’s father, Paul.
